Britney Spears shared an unexpected message about self-worth after reposting words from Justin Bieber on Instagram.
The 44-year-old singer uploaded a photo of Bieber and placed one of his quotes over the image. Spears did not explain why she chose the message, but the post arrived shortly after she reflected on the lasting impact of her former conservatorship.
Britney Spears posted Justin Bieber’s words on Instagram about self-worth
Spears tagged Bieber on her Instagram post but did not add any personal commentary. “My worth isn’t based on what I did, what I have, who I know, or what people say about me. I am enough because God created me. – Justin Bieber,” the text read.
The singer offered no further explanation for the Britney Spears cryptic post. Spears had previously shown support for Bieber on social media. In September 2025, she defended him after he faced criticism for using family photos featuring his son, Jack, while promoting his album Swag II.
Her latest Bieber post followed several personal reflections about her own life.
Days earlier, Spears discussed the emotional effects of her conservatorship in a since-deleted Instagram post. “I feel like, still to this day, people don’t realize the real damage that was done to my heart and soul in the conservatorship,” she wrote.
The legal arrangement began in 2008 and ended in November 2021. Her father, Jamie Spears, served as her primary conservator for much of that period. Spears also reflected on how she viewed herself earlier in her career. She said she had once felt “painfully shy” away from the stage but transformed while performing.
In another recent post, Spears recalled struggling with large meet-and-greet events. She said meeting more than 10 people could make her shake and experience asthma symptoms. According to Spears, her father later required her to meet groups of around 70 people.
She said those experiences made her feel “like a robot” and expressed pride in eventually ending that routine.
Spears did not directly connect those experiences to Bieber’s message about self-worth. However, her decision to share the quote placed the theme of personal value at the center of her latest social media update.
