Rosie O’Donnell Sends Defiant Message Alongside Epstein Survivors

Rosie O’Donnell has joined Epstein survivors in a powerful show of support. The comedian and actress shared a video of the group singing Helen Reddy’s I Am Woman while calling attention to survivors of abuse. Her message also took aim at what she described as a lack of support for the women speaking out.

The video opens with the photos of the survivors and a black screen carrying the words “Support Survivors” and “The Epstein Files.” O’Donnell then appears with several Jeffrey Epstein survivors as they come together for the performance.

O’Donnell explained in the caption of the Instagram post on Sept. 3 that she reached out to several Epstein survivors and asked them to sing the song with her. She said Reddy’s song taught her at age 10 to use her voice and encouraged others to show their support for abuse survivors who speak out.

“after the corrupt AG

implied that he did not believe men accused of sex [abuse] would be charged as a result of the [Epstein] files – despite mountains of evidence …”

She continued by encouraging people to repost, duet or make their own video while singing “I AM WOMAN.” O’Donnell also highlighted the song’s message: “Yes I am wise – but it’s wisdom born of pain…”

During the video, O’Donnell thanked the women for coming together and explained that raising their hands together would be a powerful expression of solidarity and defiance. She said she wanted the gesture to communicate strength and unity rather than simply anger or confrontation.

She also acknowledged how difficult the experience has been for the survivors, saying, “I know it’s been very hard for you with very little support.” O’Donnell then added, “We’re going to change how the world deals with child sexual abuse.”

After O’Donnell shared those words of support, she and the survivors sang Helen Reddy’s “I Am Woman” together.

The post drew supportive reactions in the comments. One commenter called the phrase “Wisdom born of pain” powerful, while another survivor thanked O’Donnell for giving them strength and support, adding, “We will NOT stop!”

Other commenters praised the women as heroes and said they deserved to be recognized and seen.
