A sneak-peek snippet for 9-1-1: Nashville Season 2 has dropped, putting Chris O’Donnell in the limelight. In the intense clip, O’Donnell and Jessica Capshaw lead the Ryan Murphy-produced spin-off sequel season, featuring murder hornets and high-stakes emergencies ahead of the premiere.
The video starts with O’Donnell and Capshaw saying, “On the next season of 9-1-1 Nashville, a nefarious force is unleashing plagues on Nashville.”
Then the sneak peek pops up, showing a woman calling from The Bennett Museum and reporting that all the exits are blocked and people are trapped inside with “gigantic” hornets. She then switched to video, showing the deadly bugs attacking people before one of them attacks her.
Then comes in O’Donnell’s Captain Don Hart, saying, “113 en route. What exactly is waiting for us? [We think they’re Murder Hornets.] Cammie, did you say Murder Hornets? That doesn’t make sense. They’re not even native to America.”
Kimberly Williams-Paisley’s Cammie Raleigh, the 9-1-1 dispatcher, replies, “No, it says here they’re indigenous to East Asia. But they made it to the U.S. before, usually inside cargo or shipments of wood. However they got here, they’re terrorizing dozens of people trapped in a gallery.”
O’Donnell’s Don Hart then shares his plan of rescue, stating, “Well, we’ll start clearing people out as we land.”
What to expect from 9-1-1: Nashville season 2?
Season 2 of 9-1-1: Nashville features a multi-episode arc centered on a series of biblical-themed attacks, a new fish-out-of-water homicide detective, and heavy relationship fallout.
Station 113 kicked off the season responding to the museum emergency, which quickly escalates into a connected multi-episode mystery featuring disasters echoing the plagues of Egypt, like basements flooding with blood and outbreaks of painful boils.
This season picks up three weeks after the season 1 finale, with Blythe (played by Jessica Capshaw) and Dixie (played by LeAnn Rimes) facing the heavy consequences of their physical brawl over Dixie’s diss tracks. Don (played by Chris O’Donnell) pays a steep emotional and marital price for his involvement.
Season 2 of 9-1-1: Nashville premiered on October 15, 2026, on ABC. New episodes are scheduled to drop each following Thursday.
