TMZ reported that Archewell Productions and Meghan’s lifestyle brand, As Ever, would continue operating normally. Sources told the publication that their California-based staff would remain in place during the move.
The reported arrangement would allow the couple’s businesses to continue their regular operations overseas. Harry and Meghan also reportedly planned to continue their scheduled philanthropic work and public appearances.
That included Prince Harry’s ongoing involvement with the Invictus Games. The couple reportedly intended to keep their professional commitments moving without disruption.
The Sussexes also reportedly planned to keep their Montecito mansion. That decision meant their California home would remain part of their lives despite the relocation.
Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet were reportedly set to travel with their parents. The family had also secured temporary accommodation in Britain ahead of the children’s school start.
As per The New York Times, the move marked the family’s return after six years in America. However, people familiar with the decision said Harry and Meghan would not resume working royal duties.
The reasons behind the reported move remained unclear. King Charles’s cancer diagnosis appeared to provide an important family consideration.
Harry previously spoke about reconciliation during a BBC interview in 2025. “Life is precious,” he said. “I don’t know how much longer my father has.”
Charles reportedly learned about the family’s planned move shortly before the news emerged. A return could allow Archie and Lilibet more time with their grandfather.
