Alix gets emotional revisiting a difficult family moment from Earle Meets World
Talking about her upcoming show, the 25-year-old media personality told Us Weekly, “I would say as a whole, my family got closer, and it was really like we were in family therapy.” “Truly, like we had to talk about issues that we maybe used to just sweep under the rug, or we didn’t want to that day,” she narrated.
Earle explained that the producers pushed them to work through their disagreements. As a result, she said, they had to be more open and honest with each other, which ultimately helped them grow closer. Earle further expressed that she was “really proud” of the way her family navigated those difficult moments. She described the outcome as an “unexpected” part of having cameras document their lives. She admitted that she had wondered whether filming a reality show might “tear us apart.” Despite some heated moments, Earle said the experience ultimately strengthened their bond.
“It was vulnerable, but I’m proud to have it as a part of the show. I’m proud to have it out there,” she explained. Also added, “But those are sort of things where even if I go back and watch the show, I forget that all this happened or I was feeling these things, and I feel so bad for myself watching it sometimes. I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, I just want to give her a hug.’ I’m snotting all over the place.”
Earle Meets World gives viewers a glimpse into Earle’s life beyond the TikTok screen, where she first rose to fame through her candid Get Ready With Me videos. Now, her new reality series offers a more personal look at her life, away from the spotlight of social media. The eight-episode series premieres on Netflix on September 4.
