Chief among them, the insider alleged, was a ban on sharing photos or details from the family gathering.

Meghan Markle has seemingly found herself at odds with some of the conditions attached to the Sussexes’ recent UK trip. While the visit was an important step in Harry’s ongoing efforts to rebuild ties with his family, insiders claim Markle struggled with the level of control surrounding the reunion. One issue reportedly stood above the rest.
According to an insider, the Palace insisted that no photographs be taken or shared publicly from the family’s private meeting. The source alleged the request hurt Markle because the couple couldn’t share what was meant to be a positive occasion. “Not being allowed to take photos or post anything about the visit was especially insulting, and it still really stings,” the insider claimed (via Heat Magazine).
Even so, the source suggested Markle understood why Harry wanted to respect the arrangement. As per the insider, she knew it was important to remain “in the royals’ good graces.” Even more so as Harry continues trying to repair his relationship with King Charles. However, that understanding reportedly only went so far.
The same source alleged that Markle feared the couple had sacrificed too much just to avoid upsetting the Palace. “She’s worried that they’re degrading themselves by caving into all of this censorship,” the insider said. The source went on to claim that the restrictions left them feeling “essentially muzzled” and “backed into a corner where they have no voice or right to express themselves in their own way.”
Meanwhile, Harry is reportedly looking at the bigger picture. Another insider claimed he believes compromises are necessary if the couple hopes to rebuild trust with the Royal Family. As the source puts it, he would rather focus on preserving the progress made during the visit than dwell on the disagreements.
