Christmas is reportedly a special time for Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children. According to a source who spoke to the National Examiner, the Princess of Wales is eager to decorate the family home and organize festive activities.

“Christmas is their favorite,” the source said. “Kate’s very excited to start putting up all the holiday decorations. They’re going to get a real statement tree again this year and the plan is to have a tree trimming party later this month.”

Kate and Princess Charlotte, 11, also enjoy spending time in the kitchen together. “Kate, 44, and her daughter, Charlotte, always do lots of Christmas baking and they’ve already started trying out different cookie recipes,” the insider added. “As soon as George comes home for break, they’ll start all the old traditions up.”

Prince George, 13, currently attends Eton College, while his younger siblings, Charlotte and Prince Louis, 8, attend Lambrook School. The family is due to spend Christmas at Sandringham before heading off for a skiing holiday. “Christmas Day will be spent at Sandringham, as always, and then the plan is to go for a ski holiday straight after,” the source shared. “They’re all very excited and so grateful that Kate is back to full health. They’re not taking it for granted.”

Kate is reportedly keen for Prince George to balance his future royal role while also taking time to enjoy being a teenager. Prince William also reportedly wants to use the holidays to coach his son about royal responsibilities.

Meanwhile, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are reportedly considering spending Christmas in the UK with Meghan’s mother, Doria Ragland.
