House of Stassi Reunion: Is It Happening?

Stassi Schroeder does not want fans to expect a House of Stassi reunion anytime soon. The reality star shared a clear update while discussing the future of her Hulu series. She also teased that there might be a second season where viewers might get answers instead. Stassi’s remarks came in a recent podcast interview.

Stassi says a House of Stassi reunion is not part of the show’s plan

Stassi went on the July 31 episode of the It Girl podcast and put the rumours of reunions to rest. When asked whether Andy Cohen could host a reunion, she replied, “I don’t want a reunion. No reunion.” She then added, “We will work it out in season 2.” The comments were made after fans were wondering about the format of the new Hulu series, similar to Bravo reality shows.

Stassi knows reunion specials well from her years on Vanderpump Rules. After the show’s debut in 2013, she was instantly a fan favourite. After a racism scandal that involved former cast member Faith Stowers, Bravo fired Kristen Doute and Stassi from Season 8 in 2020. Since then, Stassi has returned to reality TV with Vanderpump Villa and later hosted the season 4 reunion for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives.

During the podcast, Stassi also joked about taking over Nick Viall as a reunion host. “All the girls would agree [that I did a better job]. You couldn’t even hear him. He was so low energy,” she said. Then Stassi chuckled at the response her comment might get. “My publicists hate me right now. You know [these quotes] are going to get picked up and Nick is going to go on his Substack and write about it — after he puts it into ChatGPT.”

Now, Stassi has her own Hulu show, House of Stassi, which debuted last month. During a TV Insider interview in July, she revealed that she’d always wanted to create something larger after Vanderpump Rules. She also revealed on the show’s debut that she had “mixed feelings” about Vanderpump Rules, saying that it “normalized so much darkness” and that it “covered for the men.” Despite this, Stassi said she did not want to make Vanderpump Rules her legacy and wanted House of Stassi to write a new chapter in her career.
