Ex-Prince Andrew Gives up on UK, Looks to the Gulf for ‘Respect’ — Source

Ex-Prince Andrew is reportedly considering relocating to the Gulf, leaving Britain. The exiled prince believes it’s the only place to rebuild his reputation.

Insiders say Prince Andrew has given up on rebuilding his reputation in Britain and is looking to the Gulf instead

The former Duke of York is planning to leave Britain for the Gulf, where he believes he will still be respected. He was stripped of his military titles and royal patronages soon after his association with late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was revealed.

According to a source by Radar Online, “Andrew knows Britain is no longer a place where he can rebuild either his reputation or his sense of purpose. He feels every door has effectively been closed to him, whereas in parts of the Gulf, he believes people are still interested in the relationships he has cultivated over decades and the international connections he can offer.”

The source added, “Increasingly, he speaks as though the Gulf represents his best chance of carving out a meaningful future because it’s the only place where he feels he is still afforded a degree of respect.” Another insider said that “Andrew has resigned himself to the idea that there is no realistic path back for him in Britain. He believes public opinion has hardened beyond repair and that, within royal circles, he will always be viewed as an outcast regardless of anything he does.”

The sources close to the royal family explain that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has understood that the public opinion of him is beyond repair. He has to move away from the U.K. to regain a sense of purpose. However, the ex-prince wants to claw back his daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie, and regain influence, calling their unfair royal exile.

The former prince, 66, has denied all the allegations made in the Epstein files. The credibility among the public is lost.
