Kanye West and his former assistant Lauren Pisciotta are almost ready to settle the lawsuit against the rapper for sexual assault allegations. The latest development comes after months of legal proceedings between the two parties.

According to TMZ, legal counsel from both sides has agreed to settle the case. As per the legal documents, the mediation and agreement happened on June 4. The court has removed the final hearing from its calendar to provide both parties a chance to settle the matter.
The Ye founder faced a heated lawsuit from his former assistant. She sued him on multiple claims, including sexual assault and breach of contract. She claimed the rapper had forced her to perform oral sex many times, as per the reports by the LA Times in 2024.
He fired her after sending sexual texts and videos. One of the alleged texts, according to TMZ, states, “See my problem is I be wanting to f*** but then after I f*** I want a girl to tell me how hard they been f***ed while I’m f***ing them. Then I want her to cheat on me.”
Additionally, the assistant claimed that the rapper had touched her vagina and masturbated at a hotel. She also claimed that she was drugged during a recording session, which was reportedly attended by Diddy, Sean Combs.
Pisciotta was not the only one with allegations against West. Another woman, Jenn An, spoke to the BBC about how Kanye assaulted her in 2010.
After a year of fighting, both parties in the Pisciotta case have reached an agreement. However, final settlements during these are often kept confidential. The final decision between them might not be made public.
If approved, the settlement would bring an end to one of the high-profile cases involving Kanye West, though terms might remain confidential.
