Elsie Hewitt had begun to share parenting content on Instagram, detailing her life as a single mother after her breakup with former SNL star Pete Davidson.
Since the split, Hewitt has openly shared the “full mental load” of being a single mother and having to handle things financially as well.
Elsie details the ups and downs of being a single mom to 5-month-old Scottie Rose
In a recent TikTok post, Hewitt vlogged while taking care of her 5-month-old daughter, Scottie Rose. She expressed that she’d had disturbed sleep and had to get up in the middle of the night to change a dirty diaper.
Elsie also said that she hasn’t worked out since she gave birth, and had finally managed to squeeze in a pilates session amid her packed schedule. The actress also quipped about how she had planned on going out to eat after putting the baby to bed – a plan that did not pan out as she wanted.
Hewitt and Davidson started dating in March 2025, which led to a surprisingly quick move-in together. Scottie Rose, named after Davidson’s father, who lost his life in the 9/11 attacks, was born in December 2025. Unfortunately, the couple split shortly after, just months into sharing an apartment.
Hewitt has, since then, been vocal about her struggles as a single mother, where she hardly gets any time for herself. She had also thought about filing a lawsuit against Davidson over childcare expenses. Davidson’s team responded, saying that he was already going above and beyond to help Elsie out, including paying for Scottie’s childcare expenses and giving her the entire apartment.
Speculations around Elsie’s claims reignited her past lawsuit against ex Ryan Phillippe, whom she sued in 2017 over alleged assault and emotional distress. The case was settled in 2019 after Phillippe denied all charges.
