Jimmy Fallon Takes Aim at Trump-Netanyahu Peace Talks

Jimmy Fallon found fresh material in Washington this week after reports surfaced about a tense exchange between Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The late-night host used the alleged clash, along with the collapse of Iran peace talks, as fuel for a string of punchlines during Tuesday’s episode of The Tonight Show.

The comedian’s opening monologue bounced between politics, foreign policy, and Trump’s reported reaction to stalled negotiations with Iran. As usual, Fallon didn’t hold back, turning serious headlines into a rapid-fire comedy routine that left plenty of public figures in the crosshairs.

Jimmy Fallon blasts Donald Trump after he called peace talks with Iran “boring”

While discussing reports that peace talks between the United States and Iran had broken down, Fallon mocked Trump’s reported comments that the negotiations had become “boring.”

According to Fallon, that explanation sounded suspiciously familiar. “Yeah, Trump is losing and bored, also known as ‘Monopoly Mode,’” the host joked, drawing laughter from the audience.

The Tonight Show star had already taken a swipe at the president earlier in the monologue while discussing Trump’s rumored attendance at an upcoming New York Knicks playoff game. Fallon quipped that it would reportedly be Trump’s first time at a court without his attorney.

But the biggest laugh of the night may have come when Fallon addressed reports of a heated phone call between Trump and Netanyahu. Reports suggested Trump allegedly told the Israeli Prime Minister, “You’re f—ing crazy” during a discussion surrounding Iran.

Fallon compared the reported exchange to another unlikely confrontation. “That’s like Pete Hegseth telling Kash Patel, ‘No, you’re drunk,’” he joked, referencing previous reports involving both administration officials.

The late-night host also found time to poke fun at former First Lady Jill Biden after she reportedly suggested that Joe Biden could have defeated Trump had he remained in the 2024 presidential race.

Fallon quickly dismissed the idea with another punchline, joking that Biden might only have prevailed in a soup-eating contest or an Amtrak trivia competition.
