Speculation Grows Over Donald Trump Jr.’s Potential 2028 Election Bid After Recent Wedding

There is speculation about whether Donald Trump Jr. is eyeing a future presidential position in the 2028 election.

Interestingly enough, President Donald Trump has not attended his son’s wedding to Bettina Anderson, citing “Iran” as a reason.

There is current speculation Don Jr. might throw his hat into the presidential race after his recent marriage

In a Substack article published by Rob Shuter, he explains why Don Jr. may be positioning Trump’s non-attendance as a political move. “Don Jr. thinks being married makes him look more presidential,” one insider reveals. “He understands the Republican base. This wasn’t just personal — politically, he sees it as an asset.”

However, the absence of his father at the wedding ceremony raises hard questions about Donald Trump’s assessment of his son’s future.

“People inside the family are asking the same question,” another source says. “If Trump couldn’t show up for one of the biggest days of his son’s life, how enthusiastic would he really be about backing a presidential campaign?”

The heat is on for the 2028 presidential election. Insiders say Vice President Vance and Secretary of  State Marco Rubio are surreptitiously building their support base for the 2028 elections. Add Don Jr. to the equation, and you have the recipe for a complex and dramatic election.

“Nobody is waiting their turn anymore,” a Republican insider explains. “Vance has the ideological MAGA base, Rubio has establishment donors, and Don Jr. has the Trump name. It’s becoming a real fight.”

Sources believed that Don Jr. is trying to find a way into the presidential ecosystem. By positioning his wedding as low-key and without the presence of his father, Don Jr. may just be building his image as a true nationalist and patriot.

“He’s moving like someone who fully expects to run one day,” the insider adds. “The only question is whether his father ultimately sees him as an heir — or competition.”

WHAT DO YOU THINK OF DON JR. AS A PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE?
