Comedian Sarah Silverman will have her first HBO comedy special entitled “Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles,” airing later this month.
Taped in front of an intimate audience of 39 at Largo, a music and comedy club in Los Angeles, the exclusive presentation takes aim at such subjects as pornography, religion, President Obama, procreation, government, self-examination, sexuality, the miracle of existence, and more. It is produced by Funny or Die and Black Gold Films.
Silverman received an Emmy nod for Outstanding Leading Actress in a Comedy Series for her self-titled show “The Sarah Silverman Program,” and she won an Emmy for Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics as one of the writers of “I’m F*ing Matt Damon,” which was featured on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!”. She has also appeared in “The Aristocrats,” “Wreck-It Ralph,” and “The School of Rock,” and she is currently in production on Seth McFarlane’s “A Million Ways to Die in the West.” She is also the author of the New York Times bestseller “The Bedwetter: Stories of Courage, Redemption and Pee.”
“Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles” will air on HBO Canada on November 23rd at 10pm.
