The former couple’s business ties reportedly worry his family
According to Page Six, the coach’s family is reportedly relieved about the breakup but remains concerned about Hudson’s professional involvement. A source said, “There’s definitely a sense of relief now that Bill and Jordon have split, but the family’s concerns haven’t completely gone away. Bill’s family never really had an issue with the age difference between him and Jordon. Their concerns were more about how involved she had become in his professional life.”
The coach reportedly involved Hudson in various professional matters, including emails and management decisions. According to the insider, her involvement in these business dealings made his family uncomfortable.
Despite their relief, Belichick’s relatives remain concerned about Hudson’s business role. The source said, “They understand she’s still very involved in his business affairs, but they don’t really know the full extent of her involvement. How much say she has, or exactly what responsibilities Bill has given her. They’re not accusing her of doing anything wrong, but there’s still some uncertainty about what her role looks like now that they’re no longer together.”
News of their reported split emerged in October, although the pair had reportedly ended their romance in late 2025. They maintained their professional ties despite the breakup. The two first met on a flight in 2021 and made their public debut as a couple in December 2024.
The couple previously avoided discussing how they first met. During a CBS Sunday Morning interview in April 2025, Hudson interrupted a question about their relationship, saying, “We’re not talking about this.” Belichick later defended her actions. He explained that he had agreed to the interview to promote his book, The Art of Winning: Lessons from My Life in Football, and felt the personal questions were unrelated to its purpose.
More recently, Belichick pushed back when a reporter questioned him about the reported breakup. He insisted that he would keep his personal relationships private.
