William and Kate’s oldest child, George, is second in line for the throne after his father. The young prince is currently studying at Eton College but is already learning the ropes of a future king. However, his early preparation for royal duties has reportedly left his mother concerned.
How William and Charles are preparing Prince George for future duties
Kate Middleton is reportedly worried that King Charles and Prince William are already grooming Prince George for his future role as king. As per Closer Online, Middleton revealed to locals at a charity shop in Norfolk that she is excited for all three of her children to be home for their October break, as she missed them a lot.
A source explained that family is the most important thing to her, and the Waleses have gone above and beyond to protect their children. An insider further explained that this will not exactly be a full-fledged break for George. As per the source, his parents would want him to keep up his royal studies and prepare himself for future royal duties.
William, who is the future king, is already preparing George for the throne in age-appropriate ways. Based on the outlet, it seems the young prince’s training is going to intensify now that Charles’ health is not in the best condition. Hence, the king is already handing out bigger responsibilities to his older son, William. The latter, in turn, is preparing George for the job. Everybody can sense the urgency in the situation.
The young prince is already studying royal history. However, going forward, the Prince of Wales wants him to be aware of current affairs. William reportedly wants George to know what is happening in the monarchy right now. George might even participate in meetings to see royal decision-making in action.
However, the Princess of Wales is clear that George deserves some downtime. She reportedly feels her son should not only take care of royal responsibilities. A source said: “Kate is on board, but she’s also making sure they don’t get carried away. William and Charles can get caught up in talking about the future and all the heavy responsibility, and that does worry Kate.”
