Country music trio Taylor Red has a large fan following, and heartbreaking news has left its supporters devastated. Nicole Taylor, the group’s lead singer and drummer, died after battling breast cancer.
Nicole Taylor’s triplet sisters confirm her death after stage four breast cancer
On Monday, November 2, the singer’s triplet sisters, Nika and Natalie Taylor, confirmed on TikTok that she died on September 28 after battling stage 4 breast cancer.
Nika said, “We’re heartbroken to announce the passing of our sister Nicole Taylor. We honestly thought she’d be healed here on earth, but now she’s healed in heaven.”
“It was an aggressive type. In her words, when she first found out, was ‘God’s gonna use this for his glory.’ She thought it fearlessly and she said, ‘We’re not going to live in dread during all of this.’ And she even did CrossFit while she was with her chemo treatments. She responded well to treatments and she was declared evidence without disease,” Natalie added.
Natalie continued, “Then after that she was told it turned into stage four. She tried not to live in fear, remained really hopeful. She traveled, she tried to live life, she worked really hard, she tried to have fun.”
Her sisters said she learned that her cancer had progressed to stage 4 and that doctors had given her three months to live. Nika added that doctors could not predict how long she would survive, even if treatment worked.
The lead drummer’s sisters shared the heartbreaking news with fans on TikTok. They also posted an emotional video on YouTube, opening up about how they were coping with Nicole Taylor’s death.
One of the singer’s sisters admitted that they were still processing everything. “this, honestly, feels really hard to talk about.” However, she promised fans, “we’re going to do our best to share her story.”
