Prince Harry Will ‘Bounce Back’ Amid Royal Rift — Photographer

A royal photographer believes that Prince Harry will eventually “bounce back” from the current turbulence. The news comes amid his and Meghan Markle‘s ongoing strain with the royal family, particularly Prince William. Despite the Duke of Sussex recently expressing a desire for reconciliation, his elder brother has reportedly not reciprocated the sentiment.

A photographer who has watched Prince Harry grow up behind the lens believes his current struggles won’t last. Arthur Edwards, who has documented the royal family for The Sun for nearly five decades, claims that the Duke will “bounce back,” despite his deepening rift with Prince William and the royal family.

As reported by The Daily Express, the veteran photographer, whose upcoming book “Cup of Tea, Arthur? My Extraordinary 50 Years Photographing the Royal Family” is hitting bookstores soon, welcomed Prince Harry’s return to the UK. Even though it does not mark a return to official royal duties, Edwards expressed his hope that the estranged royal “gets involved.”

In conversation with The Telegraph about the non-working royal’s return, Edwards shared, “I’m glad he’s back, and I hope he gets involved. He was a great star. He might not be the knight in shining armour at the moment, but knowing him, he’ll bounce back. People have got short memories.”

Edwards further shared fond memories of the 42-year-old from his childhood. He noted that Prince Harry “used to love” being photographed as a young boy. He recalled that King Charles’ younger son would cheekily stick his tongue out while being photographed.

However, the royal lensman’s hope for the Duke appears unlikely to materialize. After all, the King has already reaffirmed the Sussexes’ position shortly after their return, leaving no scope for a formal role.

A formal communication issued on behalf of King Charles has outlined Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s position. The letter was sent on the monarch’s behalf by the Lord Chamberlain, the Palace’s most senior official. It states that the couple remains barred from using “His and Her Royal Highness” and will continue to be regarded as “private citizens.”
