According to the latest report, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have moved into a wealthy friend’s property in the UK. The Sussexes returned in August 2026 and have since been living in private accommodation in the Cotswolds. This development comes a few months after a royal expert claimed that Harry had struggled to find a ready-to-move-in property.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly move to new home
The Daily Mail reports that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been staying at the home of a wealthy businessman who is a friend of the Duke of Sussex. Harry reportedly met him through their shared interest in military charities, and the two eventually became friends. The couple previously stayed in the main house, but have now moved to another property on the estate.
This update comes a couple of days after royal expert Alison Boshoff wrote in the Mail that a friend of the Sussexes had revealed their living arrangement. The friend said that Harry and Markle are temporarily staying at a friend’s property in the UK.
They added, “But the truth is Harry feels they are highly unlikely to find somewhere that is just ready to move into. He thinks it may be 12 to 18 months before they’re into a new place, and that’s if you are thinking about completing at the end of this year or early next year. So it could be even further away than that.”
They further explained that the type of property the Sussexes are looking for, particularly one with the amount of land they want, does not become available every week, which has resulted in the delay. The confidante added that the couple understands house-hunting could take some time given their specific requirements.
Harry and Markle, along with their children, have reportedly left the UK for an overseas trip in the wake of the October school break. This trip also comes amid the Duchess’s estranged father, Thomas Markle Sr., facing legal trouble.
