Ghost Rider Rumor Reveals Who Connor Storrie Is Playing in Ryan Gosling MCU Movie

A new rumor may have revealed who Connor Storrie will play in Marvel Studios’ upcoming Ghost Rider movie. Storrie was reportedly in talks with the studio about the villain role in the Ryan Gosling-led film. Now, a scooper claims the Heated Rivalry actor will portray Daniel Ketch in the MCU project.

The new rumor comes from Cartier Films, but the scooper doesn’t fully commit to breaking the news. In a new blog post, Cartier Films wrote, “I’m hearing that Connor Storrie might be taking on the role of Daniel Ketch,” suggesting the information may not be set in stone. In Marvel Comics, Ketch is another Spirit of Vengeance and is also the brother of Johnny Blaze, the first Ghost Rider.

As of now, Connor Storrie’s casting is only a rumor and should be treated as such. Marvel Studios has not officially announced any plans regarding Storrie and his role in Ghost Rider. Fans were already speculating that the 26-year-old may have been tapped to play the villain.

What else do we know about the MCU Ghost Rider movie?

Ryan Gosling will star as the titular hero in the MCU’s Ghost Rider movie. Shawn Levy will direct the film, announced at Comic-Con earlier this year. Levy has already worked with Marvel Studios by helming 2024’s Deadpool & Wolverine. He also worked with Gosling on Star Wars: Starfighter, which releases next year. No other details about Ghost Rider have been revealed.

The upcoming movie will be one of Marvel Studios’ first projects after 2027’s Avengers: Secret Wars. It’s unclear which version of Ghost Rider Gosling will portray. Gabriel Luna previously played Robbie Reyes in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., but the MCU hasn’t acknowledged the character yet. Before Luna, Nicolas Cage played another version of the character, Johnny Blaze, in two films.

Ghost Rider will be released on July 28, 2028.
