PK Kemsley was nervous ahead of his latest court meeting with estranged wife Dorit Kemsley, as the former couple continues working toward a divorce settlement. The two reached a partial financial agreement during lengthy discussions at Los Angeles County Superior Court on Wednesday.
However, disagreements over custody of their two children remain unresolved, requiring further negotiations.
PK admits he’s nervous ahead of court meeting
As per Page Six‘s report, PK arrived at Los Angeles County Superior Court before Dorit. The RHOBH star was overheard telling his legal team that he was “nervous.” His estranged wife entered shortly afterward, escorted by her lawyer. According to an eyewitness, “Both of them seemed nervous and stressed.”
After hearing from both parties, Judge George Bird spent nearly an hour in chambers with their attorneys. He then directed Dorit and PK to meet with another judge in a separate department to discuss their custody disagreements before returning later in the afternoon.
Meanwhile, Judge Bird expressed concern that the former couple was struggling to reach an agreement. “I feel like every time we call this case, we’re getting further and further away,” he said from the bench. He also reminded them to prioritize their children’s well-being.
On their way to the second judge, Dorit was reportedly heard telling her legal team that she needed to step away for a cigarette before resuming negotiations. However, her lawyers asked her to check in with them before taking the break.
Although the former couple reached a partial financial settlement, the details have not been made public. They have also been ordered to attend virtual mediation on December 2 to work toward a custody agreement for their children, Jagger, 12, and Phoenix, 10.
Dorit and PK married in New York City on March 7, 2015, and announced their separation on May 9, 2024. Dorit subsequently filed for divorce in April 2025, nearly a year after their split.
The former couple is scheduled to return to court on November 24 to continue working toward a settlement. With PK Kemsley nervous during the latest courtroom appearance, the upcoming negotiations will determine whether the estranged couple can make further progress toward resolving their divorce.
