PK Kemsley Claims Dorit Lets the Nanny Do the Parenting

PK Kemsley has raised concerns about Dorit Kemsley’s parenting amid their ongoing divorce. The former couple remains involved in disputes over decisions concerning their children. In a recent court filing, PK claimed Dorit has excluded him from school matters and other aspects of their children’s daily lives. He also criticized what he described as her approach to parenting.

According to documents obtained by TMZ, PK filed a declaration criticizing Dorit just hours before they reached a partial financial settlement. He claimed she did not involve him in the selection of a school for their son. PK described her “complete and intentional lack of communication and collaboration” as “shocking and disheartening.” He also alleged that she continues to make important decisions without seeking his input.

PK said he rarely receives school updates directly from Dorit. “I have no communication from [Dorit] about [our son’s] school events unless [our son] himself tells me,” he wrote. He claimed he receives little information from her about their son’s schooling and instead learns about school-related matters through the children. PK argued that Dorit excludes him from decisions that should involve both parents.

The declaration also questioned how Dorit handles her day-to-day parenting responsibilities. PK said her approach “can best be described as parenting from afar.” He called her “not a present parent” and claimed she began delegating her everyday responsibilities to the nanny and housekeeper years ago. Dorit disputes his allegations.

PK also claimed the nannies handle several aspects of the children’s daily lives. He alleged that they pick the children up from school, prepare their meals and handle other responsibilities.

The filing came shortly before the former couple reached a confidential agreement regarding their finances. However, they have yet to resolve their custody dispute, leaving parenting arrangements as an outstanding issue in their divorce.
