Collision Course tops Netflix streaming charts after debut
Collision Course has emerged as the most-watched movie on Netflix in the United States, reaching the top of the platform’s daily rankings shortly after its release.
According to FlixPatrol, the Spanish crime thriller secured the No. 1 position on Netflix’s U.S. Top 10 Movies chart on November 1, 2026. It ranked ahead of films including Don’t Trust the Couple Upstairs, Hubie Halloween, Champions, Surviving Hurricane Otis, and Animals.
The film made its Netflix debut on October 30, 2026, and its strong performance was also reflected in the global rankings. The publication also listed Collision Course as the No. 1 movie worldwide on Netflix the day after its release.
Directed by Daniel Sánchez Arévalo, Collision Course is a Spanish heist thriller set in Madrid in 2013, against the backdrop of an economic crisis. The story follows four criminals who carry out a bank robbery, but an unexpected development disrupts their carefully planned escape. As they struggle to cover their tracks and stay ahead of the police, tensions within the group begin to rise.
The unfolding crisis exposes old lies and betrayals, forcing each of them to confront the consequences of their actions. The cast includes Laia Costa as Carla Mencía, Karra Elejalde as Pedro, Luis Zahera as Ernesto, Tamar Novas as Tomás, Álvaro Cervantes as Raúl, and Lluís Homar as Luis.
Charles Hartford of But Why Tho reported, “Collision Course attempts something different with mixed results. A compelling narrative hook and an ability to craft tension bring enough to engage, but the character-side struggles keep it from firing on all cylinders.”
