An expert believes the royal family should apologize to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle amid their ongoing estrangement. The comments come as tensions between the Sussexes and the rest of the family persist. Expert claims how the Sussexes deserve apology from the Royal family
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have no plans to apologize to the royal family. According to The News International, the non-working royals reportedly see no reason to make amends with King Charles and Prince William over past disputes.
Weighing in on the matter, an expert has argued that it is actually the royals who owe the Duke and Duchess of Sussex an apology. Speaking to Woman & Home, royal commentator Emily Andrews said, “They’re not going to apologise; they have absolutely nothing to say sorry for,’ I’m told. ‘If anything, they still deserve an apology for the way they were treated.”
The remarks surfaced amid reports that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will skip the royal family’s Christmas gathering at Sandringham. According to sources, the couple plans to spend the festive period in California with Markle’s mother, Doria Ragland. The “Suits” alum apparently favored a low-key US holiday over awaiting a royal invitation that could lead to uncomfortable dynamics.
However, controversy continues to follow the Duchess on another front. She is reportedly navigating fallout from an ongoing investigation in the Philippines involving her estranged father, Thomas Markle Sr. He has strongly denied the allegations, insisting he did not possess the alleged child sexual abuse material among his belongings.
Commenting on the matter, Andrews claimed that Meghan Markle is reportedly “in bits.” That said, the As Ever founder has the support of close friends around her. The royal expert shared, “She has other friends checking in with her daily.”
Additionally, sources close to her revealed, “On the one hand she’s looking at her own children who are obviously very young, and feeling horrified on behalf of any other children allegedly caught up in this situation.”
