Jenna Bush Hager and Sheinelle Jones were left questioning one aspect of Love Is Blind after watching a contestant’s messy apartment tour. A Season 11 contestant’s filthy kitchen left both TODAY hosts visibly disgusted. John Shannon proudly showed fiancée Sarah Williams around his apartment. However, his messy kitchen quickly became the focus of the tour.

The hosts watched the viral apartment clip during the Oct. 29 episode of TODAY With Jenna & Sheinelle, according to OK! Magazine.
John admitted that dirty dishes had remained in his sink since before he left to film the Netflix experiment. His refrigerator also contained a spill that had apparently gone uncleaned for an unknown amount of time.
Sheinelle immediately recoiled and shouted, “No.”
Jenna agreed that John’s kitchen looked “kind of nasty.” She then questioned whether seeing someone’s home first might be a good reason to skip the pod experiment altogether.
Sarah, however, reacted more calmly to the mess. She reassured John that people can clean refrigerators and insisted she was “not panicking.”
Sarah’s response prompted Jenna and Sheinelle to reconsider their initial reactions. Sheinelle wondered whether judging someone too quickly over a messy apartment could prevent a promising relationship from developing.
Eventually, both hosts landed on giving John a chance to clean up his act. “Everybody needs grace,” Sheinelle said.
The segment comes during a particularly eventful Love Is Blind Season 11. The Boston cast entered the pods with 30 singles looking for marriage, but several connections have already taken unexpected turns.
One engagement recently collapsed after Rob Feeley’s explosive outburst, while Jax Guelli ended things with Stew Stewart immediately after their reveal.
Jenna and Sheinelle have also developed a rapport while discussing personal and relationship topics on their show. The pair officially became permanent fourth-hour co-hosts after Sheinelle joined Jenna on TODAY.
For John, at least, the verdict was not completely hopeless. Although the kitchen left both hosts disgusted, Sheinelle ultimately suggested that a messy apartment should not automatically end a potential relationship.
