Jax Guelli regrets abruptly ending her engagement to Scott Stewart as the Love Is Blind stars discuss reconciling
“I wish I handled it differently,” Jax told Us Magazine. “At the time, I physically could not, and I was so overwhelmed, [I] almost [had a] panic attack. So I just wanted to get out of there.”
Looking back, Jax acknowledged that walking away without properly explaining herself was “completely immature.”
“I cleared that up with him after, like, right away. But it was super dramatic, and it didn’t need to be like that. … I’ve worked on that,” she said.
Jax also described her decision as “completely selfish,” explaining that she was overwhelmed and needed to leave the situation.
Stew, meanwhile, said the pair have since “completely reconciled” and remain close.
“She reached out immediately after [and] kind of explained what was going through her head at the time. It didn’t have anything to do with me. It was just the situation, you know, and so … we’re good friends,” he said.
Their reunion will be featured in the next batch of episodes, giving viewers a closer look at how they moved past the awkward breakup.
As for whether their relationship could become romantic again, neither star appears to have completely ruled it out. Stew also teased that Jax may still have her engagement ring, telling viewers to “stay tuned to the reunion.”
The former couple’s story has already become one of the more unexpected twists of Love Is Blind Season 11, with their relationship taking a dramatic turn almost immediately after the proposal.
