During her October 26 appearance on TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle, Posey joked that she had no fear of missing out on The White Lotus because she would return for Season 4. “No, because I’m in Season 4 of The White Lotus. I thought I would tell you,” she said. Her comment caught both hosts off guard. “No! What is happening and why did we not have the research!” Bush Hager exclaimed.
Posey then revealed that series creator Mike White had recently contacted her. “Mike White texted me, and he was asking me how I was doing,” she recalled. She also mentioned asking White about the production, which reportedly had four more weeks remaining.
The conversation soon shifted to the fear of missing out, or FOMO. Bush Hager admitted that she increasingly preferred staying home rather than attending events. “I don’t have it anymore because I get too tired. I would rather be on the couch,” she explained.
Posey agreed, saying, “Me too!” She added, “I like the pillows under my knees,” while Jones acknowledged that FOMO sometimes depended on the occasion.
The interview also covered Posey’s new project, The Mob, a reality competition featuring celebrities completing challenges for cash prizes. Posey described hosting the show as “eye candy” and said the experience allowed her to explore a different side of her personality.
She also credited her friend Alan Cumming with encouraging her to accept the role. According to Posey, he assured her she would “have a blast.”
