Savannah Chrisley Apparently Forgot to Mention She Was Already Married

Savannah Chrisley apparently skipped one small detail while sharing her engagement and pregnancy news: she had already married Jason Galanis. The reality star and her businessman partner quietly exchanged vows in the Cayman Islands.

The July ceremony added a twist to a romance that began in 2025. They also planned a larger celebration for 2027, which Chrisley postponed as her pregnancy changed their timeline.

A hidden July wedding adds another twist to Savannah’s controversial romance

Marriage records obtained by PEOPLE confirmed that Chrisley, 29, and Galanis, 56, married July 14 at Cayman Islands Baptist Church. They wed after one year of dating, two days before Galanis’ birthday. The pair got engaged five months into their relationship, during a December 2025 trip to the Cayman Islands.

Chrisley revealed the engagement and pregnancy on the Oct. 27 episode of Unlocked with Savannah Chrisley. Galanis proposed with an oval-cut diamond ring he designed with St. Louis’ Genovese Jewelers. Fans suspected a secret wedding after photos showed a diamond band beneath her engagement ring. Her posts mentioned the engagement but never called Galanis her fiancé. Her father, Todd, also avoided dismissing rumors on Bunnie Xo’s Dumb Blonde podcast Oct. 29.

Chrisley called theirs the “dream relationship” on her podcast and said it had no “drama and chaos and dysfunction.” In her pregnancy announcement, she called Galanis her “forever,” protector and safe place. She praised his care and said he never missed a doctor’s appointment. She also recalled heartbreak, loss and finally feeling safe again. She announced, “we’re having a BABY!” The video featured ultrasound photos, baby clothes, booties, a stuffed rabbit, a children’s book, a “Baby” cake and a “Half Baked” cookie.

PEOPLE later confirmed Galanis’ identity after Chrisley initially withheld his surname and face. The businessman worked with Hunter Biden and Devon Archer. A court sentenced him to 189 months in prison in September 2020 for multiple securities fraud schemes. He testified in the Republican impeachment inquiry into then-President Joe Biden in March 2024. President Donald Trump commuted his sentence in March 2025.

Chrisley said they moved their planned Jan. 9, 2027, celebration to May 2027 because of their “surprise of a lifetime.”
