Netflix’s The Hunting Wives Season 3 may have a release window after a filming schedule update. The crime thriller will continue Sophie O’Neil and Margo Banks’ story, which explores dangerous relationships, secrets, and murder in a wealthy Texas community.
According to What’s On Netflix, production will likely begin on December 2, 2026, and finish on April 9, 2027. Following that schedule, the series could return in December 2027. However, the premiere may slip into early 2028 if production or post-production takes longer than expected.
The potential release window is based on the previous season’s timeline. Season 2 completed filming in March 2026 before its November 26, 2026, premiere. The eight-month gap offers an estimate for Season 3’s release, but the actual timeline could change.
Netflix announced Season 3 in October 2026. However, the streaming platform has kept details about the new season’s story, episode count, or production under wraps.
Who stars in Netflix’s The Hunting Wives show?
Brittany Snow and Malin Akerman lead The Hunting Wives as Sophie O’Neil and Margo Banks, respectively. Sophie moves from Massachusetts to Maple Brook, Texas, and becomes involved with Margo’s social circle. Their increasingly complicated connection forms the center of the psychological thriller.
Dermot Mulroney plays Jed Banks, Margo’s husband. The supporting cast includes Jaime Ray Newman, Katie Lowes, Evan Jonigkeit, George Ferrier, Karen Rodriguez, Hunter Emery, and Branton Box. Season 2 also features John Stamos, Kim Matula, Alex Fitzalan, Cam Gigandet, and Dale Dickey.
Based on May Cobb’s novel of the same name, The Hunting Wives combines psychological suspense with a story about obsession, betrayal, and murder. Rebecca Cutter is the series creator and showrunner.
A late-2027 premiere remains possible, but Netflix will need to confirm the timeline before viewers can treat it as an official release window.
