The trailer for Diane Morgan‘s upcoming Netflix series has been released. In the trailer, the 51-year-old asks Benedict Cumberbatch and Michael Bay a series of characteristically absurd questions.
Morgan will reprise her role as Philomena Cunk in the upcoming series, Cunk on Cinema. The series follows Cunk as she explores the history of cinema, interviewing experts and prominent figures, including Cumberbatch and Bay.
The description for the upcoming show reads, “Diane Morgan returns as Philomena Cunk in a new series from Charlie Brooker. Billed as Cunk’s most glamorous outing yet, she charts the history of cinema, from the invention of the camera and the New Wave filmmakers of the 1960s right up to the entrance of CGI and what the future of AI holds “
“Cunk will attempt to demystify it all while sitting in lumpy seats with stale popcorn, asking herself where did cinema come from? And why? What does it want? And why can’t it tell us?” Fans will be able to stream Cunk on Cinemas on Netflix from November 15, 2026.
