What happens in the Sweetpea Season 2 trailer?
Sweetpea Season 2 trailer opens with Rhiannon, played by Ella Purnell, speaking at a public event: “I’ve spent most of my life being scared. It then introduces Freya (Taj Atwal), Rhiannon’s new boss at the Carnsham Gazette, and Gabriel (Rish Shah), her new romantic interest.
The trailer then introduces a new copycat killer who threatens to expose Rhiannon by murdering two identical-looking girls. Her boyfriend, AJ, calls her a monster, but Rhiannon insists she is different from the new killer. “When I kill, I’m helping people,” she explains.
Leah Harvey also returns as Marina Farrar, determined to catch Rhiannon. In one scene, Marina points to Rhiannon’s photograph and declares, “She plays all sweet and innocent, but she’s a murderer.” The trailer then builds tension between Rhiannon and the unknown killer through a montage of scenes.
