Donald Trump’s Windblown White House Photos Show a Very Different Look

Donald Trump’s hair drew attention after strong winds disrupted his usual hairstyle outside the White House on October 23. Photos and video from the moment showed strands of his hair blowing across his scalp as he spoke with reporters. The scene prompted social media users to make comparisons to other public figures and fictional characters.

As Trump spoke to reporters, strong winds lifted his comb-over and sent loose strands across his scalp. His hair also appeared different from earlier in the week, according to The Daily Beast.

The moment occurred as Trump responded to NBC News White House correspondent Monica Alba, who questioned his defense of Vivek Ramaswamy’s attack ad. Social media users subsequently commented on his appearance.

“Donald Trump looks like Boris Johnson here. You need to sort out your blonde hair or do you need a wig?” one X user wrote. Referencing Bill Murray’s character in Kingpin, another user commented, “Trump’s failing hair is going through some things. Starting to look like Big Ernie McCracken.” The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Trump has previously acknowledged concerns about his hair. During a recent San Antonio rally, he expressed frustration with his thinning hair after seeing the back of his head on a screen.

“Getting a little bit thin up there, I’m not happy,” Trump said. He added, “This is not good news. Now I’m depressed. I said, ‘I look really sharp tonight,’ then I just looked at myself from the back. This is not good.”

Trump reportedly used the hair-loss medication finasteride during his first term, although it has not appeared on his medical reports since he returned to office. Biographer Michael Wolff also claimed on the Inside Trump’s Head podcast last month that Trump uses a portable kit to apply hair patches when necessary.

Wolff said, “He has what are called patches, and they call it the patch kit.” He added that the kit contains small tufts of hair matched to Trump’s current hair color, describing its maintenance as “a major enterprise and has been for many years.”
