Donald Trump returned to the White House with noticeably darker hair, sparking fresh attention to his latest appearance. The 80-year-old president arrived aboard Marine One on Sunday evening after spending part of the weekend at Mar-a-Lago in Florida.
His new look marked another shift in his famously recognizable hairstyle. The change also came after Trump publicly expressed frustration with his thinning hair earlier this month.

According to The Daily Beast, Trump emerged from Marine One on Sunday with an all-over brown hairstyle that looked lighter in some photographs. His hair nevertheless appeared several shades darker than it had during Saturday’s campaign rally in Highland Heights, Kentucky. The transformation followed Trump’s reaction to a high-definition view of the back of his head during a rally in San Antonio, Texas, earlier this month. He repeatedly touched his hair while expressing frustration with its condition.
“Wait a minute, wait a minute, I’m not happy right now,” Trump said. “Getting a little bit thin up there, I’m not happy,” he added.
Trump’s focus on appearance also surfaced during an Ohio rally last Monday, when he praised Indiana Fever guard Sophie Cunningham, whom supporters nicknamed “MAGA Barbie.” “We like Sophie Cunningham,” he said. “You have a lot of men wanting to go and watch her. She’s beautiful.”
He then acknowledged the potential political consequences of commenting on women’s appearances. “You’re not allowed to say that anymore, however, as a politician,” Trump continued. “Please, please, let me take it back. Anytime a politician says a woman is beautiful, that’s generally the end of his political career in the modern-day political world.”
Meanwhile, longtime Trump biographer Michael Wolff claimed that people around the president carried supplies to conceal his thinning hair. “He has somebody who’s following, and there have been a couple of people over — certainly over the political years — who’ve carried the patch kit,” Wolff said. “They are next to the people who carry the nuclear codes.”
Trump’s latest hairstyle added another twist to his changing appearance, although the reason behind the darker color remained unclear.
