Marvel fans could soon see one of the MCU’s most well-known villains move from television to the big screen. Following his appearance in Daredevil: Born Again, Bullseye is now at the center of speculation about a possible movie role. A recent report has linked the character to the Thunderbolts. However, Marvel Studios has yet to confirm the rumors of his appearance.
Bullseye’s future rumored to involve Thunderbolts*
Bullseye may have a future in the Marvel Cinematic Universe beyond Daredevil: Born Again. A new rumor suggests a possible appearance alongside the Thunderbolts on the big screen. The speculation surfaced during the October Q&A session, when Alex Perez responded to fan questions about the future of several Marvel characters and projects.
One question focused on reports of a possible Thunderbolts* sequel, with user ‘fede75’ asking, “Hi! When you mentioned current movement on a Thunderbolts* sequel, did you mean a new movie featuring the same team from the first film as the New Avengers (or under another name), or a new Thunderbolts roster (like Bullseye, Abomination, etc.)?”
According to The Cosmic Circus, Perez simply replied with, “…Yes.”
Bullseye’s potential involvement came up again when another fan asked about his return after Daredevil: Born Again. ‘Damesansmerci’ asked, “Hi Alex and Lizzie! When/where can I expect to see my beloved Bullseye again after the end of Born Again?”
In response, Perez offered a possible hint about the character’s next appearance. He stated, “Too early for me to tell you specifically, but I’ve heard rumors of him being brought to the silver screen and interacting with the Thunderbolts.” His response raises the possibility of Bullseye crossing over from Marvel’s television projects into its theatrical lineup.
However, Marvel Studios has not confirmed the character’s involvement in a future Thunderbolts* film, so the rumor should be taken with a grain of salt.
