Bullseye actor Wilson Bethel has teased the character’s new suit in Daredevil: Born Again Season 3. Bethel previously expressed interest in exploring Bullseye’s psyche further. The next season of Marvel’s Daredevil revival is currently filming in New York City.
What do we see in the Daredevil: Born Again Season 3 video?
Bethel revealed a closer look at a part of the new Bullseye costume on Instagram, with the caption, “Stepping Out.” The video shows the suit’s fists, which now sport the iconic Bullseye logo and more armor. It’s a welcome step toward bringing the suit closer to its comic-book counterpart.
Bullseye’s suits have gone through a long journey on the show. The Netflix iteration of the character had him using Daredevil’s suit. Born Again season 1 changed that, giving Benjamin Poindexter a masked suit with blue hues. Season 2 brought it closer to the comics by adding a Bullseye logo.
At the end of Born Again Season 2, Bullseye found a new work partner and boss in Mr. Charles, who himself was following Valentina Allegra de Fontaine’s commands. The former CIA director currently oversees the Thunderbolts, a.k.a. New Avengers. With Bullseye continuing to do her bidding overseas, fans will be excited to see how he factors into Daredevil’s adventures.
The upcoming season will also reunite the Defenders as they protect New York, with Matt Murdock seemingly ending up behind bars. The return of the Defenders may be a seed for a future Marvel show.
The season will also bring back Kingpin with a new look following his exile, along with a new version of Muse. Charlie Cox has also stated that season 3 won’t undo Daredevil’s unmasking, taking the show in an unexpected direction.
Daredevil: Born Again season 2 is streaming on Disney+.
