Daredevil To Finally Get His Biggest MCU Team up, But Not in Born Again 3 – Report

Charlie Cox and Tom Holland may finally get the MCU team-up fans have been demanding for years. A Marvel insider claims Daredevil and Spider-Man will share the screen again in the franchise’s biggest crossover event yet.

Daredevil and Spider-Man Rumored To Team Up in Avengers: Secret Wars

Marvel insider MyTimeToShineHello recently claimed on X that Charlie Cox’s Daredevil and Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will team up in Avengers: Secret Wars. The scooper quote-tweeted an Inside Fandom post about Cox wanting to work with Holland. “And they will – in Secret Wars,” MyTimeToShineHello wrote, responding to Cox’s expressed desire for the crossover.

Cox has repeatedly voiced his enthusiasm for a Daredevil and Spider-Man pairing. At Fan Expo Chicago, the actor said, “Spider-Man and Daredevil together is so iconic. I hope we get to work together again.” He also told Rotten Tomatoes that crossing paths with Spider-Man would be meaningful for both Daredevil and Kingpin. Holland shares this sentiment, previously telling The Hollywood Reporter, “I hope that one day we find a way for Spider-Man and Daredevil to team up again.”

The two heroes first shared the screen in 2021’s Spider-Man: No Way Home. Cox appeared briefly as Matt Murdock, serving as Peter Parker’s lawyer. However, the pair never suited up together in their superhero costumes during that film.

MyTimeToShineHello has a mixed track record with Marvel scoops. The insider correctly predicted the appearance of three Spider-Men in No Way Home. They also previously claimed Holland will play a “HUGE role” in Secret Wars. However, other claims about the film remain unverified. Marvel Studios has not officially confirmed Cox’s involvement in the project.

Anthony and Joe Russo direct Avengers: Secret Wars from a screenplay by Stephen McFeely. The confirmed cast includes Robert Downey Jr. as Doctor Doom, Benedict Cumberbatch, Pedro Pascal, and the Fantastic Four. The film serves as the final installment of the Multiverse Saga. Avengers: Secret Wars is set to hit theaters on December 17, 2027.
