According to the Daily Mail, the Duchess of Sussex’s father has denied the allegations, describing them as “sick lies.”
Meanwhile, Samantha has publicly defended her father and hit back at Thomas Markle Jr., calling him a “liar” and the allegations against their dad “disgusting.” Speaking to the Daily Mail, Meghan’s half-sister dismissed the accusations and questioned her brother’s motives. “There is no merit in these disgusting allegations whatsoever and my brother is disgusting for making them up. He wants to destroy our dad. Shame on him,” she claimed.
Samantha further alleged that her brother’s accusations were motivated by financial gain. According to her, the dispute began after their father stopped providing him with money. She told the publication, “My brother first came out with these lies a few weeks ago when the cash from my dad was cut off. He has used dad as a cash cow for years, and once the money stopped, he made up the most outrageous lies he could to try and make money from the media.”
She continued to criticize her brother’s actions, defending their father’s support for him over the years. “It’s disgusting that my brother is trying to destroy a man who has done nothing but support him his entire life. My brother needs money. That is what this is all about,” Samantha added.
