The claims emerged after King Charles appeared alongside William at two royal engagements on October 20 and 21. Their appearances came as Harry publicly spoke about wanting to reconcile with his father and brother.

According to Women’s Day, the King and his heir then appeared together in Wales to mark the 60th anniversary of the Aberfan disaster.
An unnamed source claimed those appearances reflected William’s growing position within the royal family. “William’s stock has never been higher,” the source said, adding that Charles appeared to be preparing his eldest son for greater responsibility.
The insider stressed that there was no known plan for Charles to abdicate soon. However, the source claimed William had become increasingly involved in major decisions and described him as the King’s “right hand man.”
That reported shift could complicate Prince Harry’s hopes of rebuilding royal relationships. The source claimed Harry could no longer expect to deal directly with Charles while bypassing William, whose authority would increase as he moves closer to becoming king.
The same dynamic reportedly affected Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie. According to the insider, both sisters had distanced themselves from Harry and Meghan in what the source described as a decision driven by “self-preservation.”
Among Harry, Beatrice and Eugenie, the insider believed Beatrice currently occupied the strongest position. She has kept a relatively low profile and has not maintained the same close connection to the Sussexes that Eugenie reportedly has.
“If anyone’s in a better position out of the three of them it’s probably Beatrice,” the insider claimed.
