Anthony Mackie’s 12 12 12 to hit Apple TV next month

Anthony Mackie’s upcoming thriller drama, 12 12 12, is arriving on Apple TV on November 13, 2026. In addition to Mackie, the series’ cast includes Jamie Dornan, Kali Reis, Jack Kesy, Agathe Rousselle, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, and Sallie Harmsen.

This is the second time Mackie and Dornan have starred alongside one another in leading roles. Previously, they worked together as the leads of the 2019 film Synchronic.

The show will consist of eight episodes, and subscribers will get to see the first two on November 13. The remaining episodes will arrive weekly, with the finale scheduled for December 25. The description of the show under its trailer on YouTube suggests that the show revolves around a major heist that takes “12 months to plan” and “12 hours to execute,” adding that “a thief not caught within 12 days won’t be caught at all.” The series looks to become a chase game between Mackie’s character and Dornan’s career criminal.

As well as creating and writing the series, Jim Keeble and Dudi Appleton serve as executive producers on 12 12 12. Other producers include Mackie, Dornan, David Ellison, among others.

In a February 2025 interview with Deadline, Mackie gave an update on filming, saying that he would be shooting with Dornan in Budapest that summer. Mackie is gearing up for his biggest release of the year, Avengers: Doomsday, which brings Robert Downey Jr. back to the MCU as the villainous Doctor Doom. The movie hits theaters worldwide on December 18 alongside the also highly anticipated blockbuster sequel Dune: Part Three.
