A source claims that Sarah Ferguson has a strong motive for writing a tell-all about the royal family. However, Ferguson’s spokesperson recently stated that “she is not writing a personal memoir” and there have been “no discussions” about a book deal.
Source suggests why Sarah Ferguson might be eager to release a memoir
Despite her team recently denying it, a source has alleged that Sarah Ferguson is working on a $10 million tell-all that could reveal explosive secrets about the royal family.
An insider told RadarOnline.com, “It doesn’t surprise me at all that she wants to pen a tell-all, because she desperately needs the money.” The statement has come following reports that the former royal is facing serious financial difficulties over her links to Jeffrey Epstein. However, the 66-year-old author maintains that she has done nothing wrong.
Ferguson and her ex-husband, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, have come under renewed scrutiny over their ties to Epstein. Earlier this year, she was mentioned in documents related to the late convicted sex trafficker that were released by the U.S. Department of Justice. As the scandal continues to unfold, the pair have found themselves increasingly sidelined from the royal family.
As for the swirling memoir rumors, a source previously told the outlet that Sarah Ferguson is fully aware of what could happen if she were to reveal private royal details. They noted, “Sarah understands that publishing a book containing private material about the Royal Family could permanently destroy whatever goodwill remains with Charles.”
The insider further said that the former Duchess is putting her relationship with King Charles ahead of a potentially lucrative book deal. She is reportedly holding out hope that the reigning monarch might provide financial support for both herself and her ex-Prince Andrew.
However, the source highlighted, “Whether Charles would ever agree to bankroll them is an entirely different question. There is no guarantee whatsoever that he will.”
