Zacharia had previously delivered a speech where she appeared unprepared, and now social media users have torn into Melania, criticizing her speech delivery and awkward exchange with President Donald Trump.

The first lady intended to promote a new initiative on women’s health. Melania focused on a new order that will enable the government to create a women’s health task force. The new intervention is meant to achieve a complete shakeup of the state of women’s health. It is designed to establish “a new standard for women’s health in America.”
However, according to Mirror, the conversation turned into fodder for online critics who cited Zacharia’s disastrous address before she was removed from her post. The stilted delivery has critics questioning whether she was able to read out the prepared speech clearly.
Zacharia also projected low confidence during her speech, which she wrapped up in under 15 minutes. What followed was a brutal backlash which also questioned Zacharia’s lawyer credentials. It came after reports of her failing the bar exam surfaced.
Criticisms around Melania pivoted on her moment with the president, when Melania deigned to introduce the president as her husband. Instead, she announced, “Please welcome the president – Donald J. Trump.” She also moved her face away when the president leaned in for a kiss.
One person on X wrote, “Melania Trump’s reading is Zacharia-like.” Another viewer commented, “Melania welcomes Trump as the President, and they have an awkward exchange. No affection at all. Notice the little desk he was sitting at.”
“She sounds like she’s reading the menu at a place she doesn’t want to be at. Seriously, her delivery has the energy of someone who just learned the words five minutes ago and is still deciding if she agrees with any of them,” another noted.
Melania’s speaking style has drawn attention before. She is known to stumble on speeches and have an extremely robotic delivery.
