KJ Biermann has filed a request asking a Georgia judge to reconsider a previous order in his sexual battery and sodomy case. The 15-year-old is the son of former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak and former NFL player Kroy Biermann. The teenager is accused of sexually assaulting a schoolmate at a local gym.
KJ Biermann seeks immediate review of the judge’s October 5 order
Court documents obtained by Page Six show that Biermann filed a motion on October 14 seeking reconsideration of the court’s October 5, 2026, order. Moreover, the motion and the order remain sealed. He also submitted a request for a certificate of immediate review of the same order. A hearing was held in the case on October 14, the outlet confirmed. Biermann was not required to appear at the hearing.
The motion comes days after the 15-year-old pleaded not guilty to all seven felony charges related to the sexual battery and sodomy case. Moreover, he also waived his formal arraignment. Also, his lawyer, Jason Sheffield, requested that the hearing be moved to Fulton County Juvenile Court.
The teenager was arrested on August 17. He was indicted by a Gwinnett County grand jury on seven felony charges in September. The indictment includes aggravated child molestation, aggravated sexual battery, aggravated sodomy, false imprisonment, and three counts of sexual battery against a child under 16. Later, Biermann was granted a $200,000 bond. His release came with strict conditions. These included electronic monitoring, virtual schooling, and restrictions on contact with the alleged victim and anyone 16 or younger.
