Chrishell Stause was left unimpressed with her ex-boyfriend Jason Oppenheim’s enthusiastic praise of Elon Musk’s Tesla technology.
The “Selling Sunset” star mocked Oppenheim for praising Tesla and announcing plans to get vehicles with Full Self-Driving technology for his employees.

OK! Magazine reported that Oppenheim recently shared a video of himself using Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) technology during a commute from Newport Beach to The Oppenheim Group’s Los Angeles office. Oppenheim praised the technology, saying that the 1-hour, 15-minute commute would be a breeze. He claimed that the car would drive itself and stop at his office parking lot without him needing to touch the steering wheel.
“This is the most important video that I’ve ever posted,” Oppenheim began. He praised the technology as “so safe” and explained why he had decided to part ways with his Bentley.
“I have no need for it. I’m not going to drive it,” he said. “I’m going to be getting self-driven around from here on out,” he added.
Oppenheim then announced another plan, saying, “I’m going to get all 10 of my employees a Tesla with full self-driving capability.”
Stause responded to the Threads post by sharing an article about allegations involving Musk’s AI chatbot Grok. The article detailed the story of a child sexual abuse survivor who alleged that Grok “used” photos of her to “generate new illegal images.”
She also added a blunt remark, writing, “Coming up on Season 10 of Selling Sunset: Being a c— for Elon.” Stause also accused her ex-boyfriend of “fanboying” over the billionaire.
Stause and Oppenheim dated in 2021 and split months later over differing views about starting a family. They have remained in each other’s professional orbit since their breakup.
While both have remained connected through “Selling Sunset,” Stause’s comment made her disagreement with Oppenheim’s praise of Musk and Tesla clear.
