Brandi Glanville’s Never-Ending Health Battle Gets Yolanda Hadid Assist

Brandi Glanville has received support from her former RHOBH costar Yolanda Hadid as she continues treatment for a mysterious facial condition. The 53-year-old said the issue began after she filmed Real Housewives: Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco in 2023.

Yolanda Hadid helped connect Brandi Glanville with doctors

On a recent episode of her Brandi Glanville Unfiltered podcast, Brandi opened up about Yolanda’s support, saying her former costar helped her get in contact with doctors. The reality star said, “Yolanda’s been very helpful, and she’s hooked me up with some doctors.”

Yolanda, 622, has also faced a health battle, having publicly discussed her years-long struggle with Lyme disease, diagnosed in 2012. Brandi said, “Our things are different. She has Lyme disease.” While Brandi expressed gratitude towards Yolanda, the former Housewife also spoke about the financial strain of her ongoing treatment. Brandi said the costs keep adding up, admitting, “It’s just spending, spending, spending. If I had her bank account, it would be different.”

A GoFundMe campaign was recently launched by one of Brandi’s close friends to help pay for her ongoing treatment and recovery. The fundraiser had already raised more than $21,800 toward its $25,000 goal as of publication. The page states that Brandi has been “diagnosed with highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis and mononucleosis.”

According to the fundraiser, the doctors also identified a fungal ball in her face that requires removal. Her treatment includes daily IV medication through a PICC line for several months. She is expected to continue treatment for at least four to six months, with the possibility of a longer recovery depending on her progress. Several Housewives stars have shown their support for Brandi. The list includes Kyle Richards, Vicki Gunvalson, Eileen Davidson, Camille Grammer, and Claudia Jordan, who have donated to the campaign.
