Prince Harry talks about returning to UK, claims report

Prince Harry discussed his return to the UK with PEOPLE magazine during the Invictus Spirit Gala Dinner and Awards in London on September 17. Notably, this marks his first public outing since returning to the UK. The Duke of Sussex was all smiles as he welcomed people at the event. He told PEOPLE, “It’s good to be back on British soil.”

Celebrity guest and DJ Sonique also gushed over the Prince’s much-awaited return to the UK. Sonique commented that it was “nice” to have Harry back. The ’90s hitmaker also recalled their past connection, saying, “He was talking about back in the day when we were younger and partying. We had a lot of fun.”

The Prince’s wife, Meghan Markle, was absent from the event. According to insiders, she was focused on settling their children, Archie and Lilibet, in the UK and fixing their new schedules. The couple is reportedly eyeing a home in the Cotswolds for privacy reasons and also because it has easy access to airports and the King’s private residence in Gloucestershire.

As per a previous report by PEOPLE, the couple will maintain their homes in California and Portugal. King Charles was allegedly informed of the couple’s plans on August 16, ten days prior to their move. The King was reportedly ecstatic at the prospect of spending time with the family in a personal capacity.
