Rachel Dolezal faced widespread controversy over presenting herself as a Black woman, and just as the discussions around the controversy were beginning to die down, another major pivot has now emerged for the activist. This time, her new career is a major pivot from her NAACP past.
Nkechi Diallo says she is now a certified sex coach with an online relationship coaching practice
Rachel Dolezal, who changed her name to Nkechi Diallo, recently switched careers. In an Instagram post shared on Saturday, September 12, she revealed that she is now a certified sex coach.
Nkechi Diallo wrote, “The cap & gown?and a new title! ? I’m thrilled to share that I’ve graduated from the Sexology Institute’s 300+ hour certification program — and that Bandwidth, my online intimacy and relationship coaching practice, is officially open! This work is personal.”
Rachel Dolezal goes on to write that, as a mother of three, she knows all too well what it feels like to deal with hypervigilance, burnout, and carrying a mental load. She adds that joy, closeness, and aliveness in the body are not luxuries but capacities that people can design, develop, and expand.
Finally, social activist ended the post by revealing that she is accepting clients, no matter where they are from.
“Now accepting clients — virtual sessions, from wherever you are.” She concluded.
On Instagram, she shared a slideshow of several photos. In one of them, she wears a black graduation gown with a red satin stole draped over both shoulders, along with a traditional graduation cap. In her hands, Nkechi Diallo holds a large rectangular gold-colored plaque that reads, “NKECHI DIALLO. Certified Sex Coach.”
For context, Diallo, who previously went by Rachel Dolezal, made this career shift more than a decade after the controversy drew national attention. At the time, she faced accusations of lying about her race after identifying herself as Black, even though she was born to White parents.
