Ryan Seacrest reveals Wheel of Fortune’s new Fortune Frenzy game will debut in Season 44
Recently, game show host Ryan Seacrest appeared on Good Morning America, where he discussed Wheel of Fortune. During the conversation, the host revealed an exciting surprise, announcing that the Fortune Frenzy game will debut in Season 44.
Seacrest said, “A lot of people say, ‘How do you get more games into the show?’ That’s not a long show, so we’re squeezing more gameplay in at the top of the show with a rapid-fire game that we just started to add, which I love.”
“I think it shakes off the nerves of the contestants at the top because they’re so excited. The adrenaline is pumping and rushing, and they’ve got to focus right into playing the game.”
As for the Fortune Frenzy game, it will give contestants the chance to win $1,000 for each puzzle they solve.
Ryan Seacrest also revealed during the conversation that there was a lot of pressure when he first started as the host, but he respects the fact that this is a show that has been part of people’s lives for so long.
As for Wheel of Fortune, the game show has completed its 43rd season, with the latest season ending on June 5, 2026. The game show will return for Season 44 on Sept. 14, 2026. Ryan Seacrest and Vanna White will once again return as the show’s hosts.
