Lori Loughlin, who played Aunt Becky on “Full House,” is back on Instagram after six years away.
Loughlin returned to the social media platform after six years, following a period during which she was incarcerated for two months.

The actress announced her return with an Instagram Reel featuring many of her co-stars from the beloved sitcom. The clip included appearances by Jodie Sweetin, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron Bure, Scott Weinger and Andrea Barber. They quipped, “Wake up, San Francisco,” referencing Loughlin’s catchphrase on the show.
She captioned the clip, “Wake up, San Francisco! I’m back on IG.” Loughlin lip-synced to “Hi, I’m Rebecca Donaldson, and I’m welcoming myself back to the show. Welcome back, Becky. Why, thank you, Becky. Welcome back.”
The comment section quickly filled up with appreciative posts celebrating the actress’s comeback to social media. “Welcome back, Lori!” one fan said. “There’s our girl!” another added.
A third wrote, “Could this be any cooler?? I watched multiple times hoping it was going to be a real show. I’d watch it!”
“Full House” fans were also moved by the inclusion of Bob Saget, who died from accidental blunt head trauma in 2022.
Loughlin’s comeback comes at a time when the actress has traversed a particularly tough time professionally and personally. The actress and her estranged husband, Mossimo Giannulli, were accused of using bribes to get their daughters accepted to the University of Southern California.
Loughlin spent two months in prison in connection with the case. Her professional life also suffered a setback when she was dropped from Hallmark’s “When Calls the Heart,” where she played Abigail Stanton. Good news is, Loughlin will be reprising the role in Season 14.
Michelle Vicary, the head of programming at Hallmark Channel, shared, “We felt that Season 14 was the right time to continue Abigail’s story with her return to this beloved series.”
Despite what happened, Loughlin had previously made it clear that she was looking forward.
