Hulu has released the first trailer for a new reality series on Khloé Kardashian’s closest friends, titled The Girls. The show will premiere with all six episodes at once. It is a new expansion of the Kardashian-Jenner television universe.

The Girls: A Khloé Kardashian Project will begin streaming on Hulu, with all six episodes of the first season releasing on August 21. The show will also be available through the Hulu and Disney+ bundle in the United States, while viewers outside the U.S. will be able to watch it on Disney+.
The series stars Natalie Halcro, Khadijah Haqq, Malika Haqq, Yris Palmer, Olivia Pierson and Nicole Williams English. Kardashian serves as an executive producer alongside Julie Pizzi, Farnaz Farjam, Nicole Blais and Lauren Goldstein. Bunim/Murray Productions, part of Banijay Americas, produces the series.
According to the official description, The Girls follows “Khloé Kardashian’s inner circle as her closest friends navigate the highs and lows of motherhood, marriage, dating, business, and life in the spotlight.”
The synopsis adds that “from career milestones and family challenges to girls’ trips, launch parties, and life-changing decisions, these ambitious women come together through their shared connection to Khloé” (via Deadine).
However, it notes that “as they spend more time together and get to know one another on a deeper level, unexpected tensions, old wounds, and clashing perspectives begin to surface – testing whether these friendships can grow as their lives continue to evolve.”
Each of the six women has her own history with the Kardashian-Jenner family. Natalie and Olivia have known Khloé and Kim Kardashian for years and have both appeared on Keeping Up with the Kardashians. The pair also starred alongside Nicole, a longtime friend of Kim’s, in a spin-off series before headlining their own show together.
Khadijah and Malika have been close friends with Khloé for more than two decades and have regularly featured on the family’s various reality projects. Yris, meanwhile, joined the group through her friendship with Kylie Jenner, whom she first met while working as her lash technician. She has since founded her own lash extension company.
Speaking about the dynamic between her friends, Kardashian said, “The bonds I have with my girls are unbreakable. But what about their bonds with each other? … It’s going to be a little cliquey without meaning to be. Just because they’re all our besties doesn’t mean they’re all best friends with each other.”
