Jon Hamm’s Your Friends & Neighbors Season 4 Could Happen Only on 1 Condition

Your Friends & Neighbors creator Jonathan Tropper revealed that the show can get a Season 4 under one condition. The Jon Hamm-led Apple TV series debuted on April 11, 2025, and returned with its sophomore season on April 3, 2026. It was renewed for a third season in February ahead of the Season 2 premiere.

Jonathan Tropper would ‘love’ to make Your Friends and Neighbors Season 4

Tropper told Page Six in a recent interview that he and Hamm would “love” to return for more of their popular show if the narrative warrants a continuation beyond three seasons. He revealed that they were currently filming the third installment and that he and Hamm had discussed the future beyond that.

“We certainly have the runway and the opportunity to make more seasons. But we’re determined to only make [more seasons] if we feel we can continue evolving the show – so it doesn’t feel like the same show, over and over again,” Tropper said.

The writer added, “I think our first three seasons have a really nice arc to them. I’d love to do more, but we have to just know what we are doing won’t feel repetitive. And so that’s what we’re gonna work on.”

Notably, Your Friends & Neighbors tells the story of Andrew “Coop” Cooper (Hamm), an affluent New York hedge fund manager who loses his job and undergoes a divorce. Desperate to maintain his lavish lifestyle, Coop resorts to crime. The cast also includes Amanda Peet as Mel Cooper, Olivia Munn as Samantha “Sam” Levitt, Hoon Lee as Barney Choi, Mark Tallman as Nick Brandes, Lena Hall as Allison “Ali” Cooper, Aimee Carrero as Elena, Isabel Gravitt as Tori Cooper, and James Marsden as Owen Ashe.

Your Friends & Neighbors has received critical recognition for both its seasons and currently has an 84% rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
